The concept of joint family is declining and now the stage has come that most of the families do not like to live in joint together, the behavior of their wards is not good towards them. It is due to the fact that the children love their parents very much till they are not married. After marriage, the responsibility of the youngsters also comes upon their family i.e. wife and children. Their affection towards their parents is getting faded.

Here in our society, A good number of elderly persons having no sufficient income for their living, no family/relatives are ready to take care of them in their old age and sickness, so they are living in a miserable condition. Being old and sick (mostly bedridden) are in good need of food, shelter, medical aid, loving care, emotional support and respect, These People of elderly are liable to get, serious psychological depression also.

In Jaipur city there is no Old Age Home where the care of poor and weak persons is being taken.  Although there are a few old home in Jaipur, but they all are on cost and the cost of the old home age is very high and an ordinary poor person can not get in. 

Here in Ramgarh Reintegration Centre premise (unit of SMK) has opened a 25 bedded old age home for who are not being looked-after properly, the proper care will be given to them and their bare necessities will be meet out and their life will be in comfortable condition, In this Home, We picked some cured persons of leprosy & disabled people to get in, in the old age home for their better care, to provide best services, we will be associated with charitable or voluntary agencies to carry out project, which will be beneficial to the people, Once in week they will be taken out for excursion tour. It is necessary for them, because they would like to come out from the home and will be happy there.

In the old age home, we will provide them the facility of newspaper, library, recreation, indoor games, good environment, spiritual thoughts etc. We will provide them homely atmosphere. The organization is committed to bringing in a dynamic change for the Older Persons in terms of social participation & integration, economic security, macro societal change, development, healthy ageing, enhancing the physical and mental quality of life and ushering in care systems in diverse cultural, socio-economic and environmental situations.

They will be provided all type of services like giving them timely treatment, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will keep 24 hours nurse for looking after them properly and if the need arises, on call doctor may be called for their proper treatment. General medicines will be provided to them at the old age home level. If doctor advices, we can call some specialist at the center or we may send the patient to the government or private hospital for proper and good treatment.

We will also take care that the food will be provided with good nutrition values and exercises.
