Tilak Bal Gurukul
(TBG) An big Educational program, respectively at Nonpura and Langdiawas,
Jamwaramgarh block of Jaipur district are running with 180 children in
collaboration with Indian Development
Foundation, Mumbai & Les Enfants de Pushkar (LEP) France, The pedagogy
is aimed here towards that learning needs are integrated fully with
socialization of the child in family and community besides enhancement in
literary skills. Villages of project area are located in remote and rural areas
of block Jamwaramgarh of Jaipur district in Rajasthan. The school is located remote villages for unprivileged
tribal/nomads children, who never expected to see a school in their life, as
their living based on their meager sources and also the community of able
people did not want them to be so upcoming in the society. TBG is a education
program focus on education development of specially tribal people's generation
to close the rural-urban divide, has been providing an opportunity to same
students in I to VIII empowerment classes, It is model project which aims to
motivate parents/children in the villages towards school education with focus
of basic values of life, disciplines, etiquettes, personal hygiene, sports,
cultural and other co- curricular activities etc,
SMK is running its Special educational
program at, Galta and Jhotwara, where free education is given to the children
of the leprosy patients and the poor families, so that they do not develop a
feeling of deprivation. The schools also enroll children from the surrounding
villages free of cost, which helps to bridge the gap that has been created due
to their parent's leprosy disease. The schools are provided with competent
teachers and all required infrastructures, so that the children do not feel
languished over their fate.
Primary schools in Asylums:- SMK is running a pre-primary school at
Galta and a primary school at Jhotwara. In both these schools free education
alongwith books, stationary, uniform is providing for the children of inmates
and to the children of surrounding areas. Mid-day-meal is also provided to the
children of the schools, In both schools the168 children of the people affected
by leprosy are being provided free education in various schools. They are also
being provided summer and winder uniforms along with books, stationary, etc. at
free of cost. In the evening coaching classes are also running for these
students.
